Easter and Spring Break!

Camille and her friends try on prom dresses just for fun!

This dress is Camille's favorite. It's also $400!
She's hoping it comes on sale on time for next year's prom...

Grammy came to visit us during spring break! We love spending time with her. We went to the skate park so all the kids (Scott too...) could show her their tricks. We also went fishing, had a picnic, did crafts and ate lots of yummy food.

We couldn't believe how warm it was. We are used to snow and rain in April. We picked a great year to relax at home.

Our family visited the Children's Museum. Bethany loved playing pretend in the child size house and delivering mail to the whole "neighborhood".

Ryan and Carter enjoying lunch at the mall. Ryan thought this was "the best"!

Carter the Weather Man.

It almost looks good enough to eat!
My favorite part of the museum were all the signs that said "Clean-up is part of Play".

Carter's favorite egg.

Today it's love...

Ryan loves his stuffed animals even though they make him sneeze.

Band Geeks+Disneyland-Sleep= Wow!

Camille had the opportunity to take a week off for a performing arts tour with the band. This was quite the adventure. We went to the Phantom of the Opera in Las Vegas, saw the LA Philharmonic Orchestra, spent two and a half days at Disneyland/California adventure, complete with workshops and performances, spent a day at Six Flags, and went to church in Newport where we got a tour of the temple grounds and had a musical fireside.
Pictures are worth a thousand words, so here's more than enough: (and this wasn't the half of it).

What? Those aren't trash bags, we're way to stylish for that.

Congratulations Ryan!

Ryan earned his Arrow of Light award in Cub-Scouts! We're very proud of him!

Sweet Bethany!

We love you Bethany. You're the only girl we know that can pull off the snow-boot wearing, super-princess.

Happy Halloween!

We realize that this post comes a bit late, but better late than never, right?

We found ourselves in the presence of an adorable mermaid (complete with snow-boots), a fearsome grim-reaper-wolf-man, and a daring ninja.

Moab

For this years Butler family reunion, we enjoyed the sunshine in Moab. It was a great couple of days filled with swimming, hiking, and fun with the cousins.

Sand Dune Arch, rechristened "The Nursery". Can you see why?

Chillin' with the cousins
The campground had a great playground, complete with a life-size chess set.
