We've had some exciting things happen this spring. First of all Camille finished winter semester at BYU and moved home! We are so excited to get to see Camille every day. Camille successfully navigated a very difficult semester. In particular she had a class where she observed secondary English classes in the community. This 3 credit hr class required her to put in 20 hrs per week in addition to attending and studying for 13 more credits hours. We are so proud of Camille's efforts (and happy to see that she has retained her sanity)!
Camille has lots of stuff! This picture doesn't show even half of it. When I picked her up from her apartment we filled the entire van, with the seats down, to the ceiling. I'm sure glad I didn't drive the car that day.
Camille made it home barely in time for Easter. We're very grateful that we got to attend church together and commemorate the Savior's resurrection and atonement. We also enjoyed dying eggs, having an Easter egg hunt and flying kites.

Another exciting event was that Ryan got his patriarchal blessing on May 4th from my father, David Butler. It was such a beautiful blessing, Scott and I felt privileged to be there. I'm so grateful that Heavenly Father gives us a glimpse of our "eternal possibilities". Having my dad give the blessing made the experience especially sweet.
I've tried to capture some happy but ordinary moments in our family life. We have plenty of frustration and arguments but generally everyone gets along pretty well. The kids still enjoy playing together. I hope this lasts a long time.

Bethany's class had a Mother's Day program. Her class performed a dance from Venezuela in honor of all their mothers. It was delightful to watch the girls lead their partners around. I love how being in a Spanish Dual Immersion program gives her so many opportunity's to learn about other cultures.
