Bethany's S'mores Party

While the boys were at scout camp Bethany had a party with her friends.  I purchased the food and Bethany did everything else.  She called all her friends, made decorations and planned games. Bethany is sure growing up!

Hi! now I, (the great and marvelous Bethany,) will narrate this party!
Below we have our food (which some of it I bought) and the table cloth
my friends and I decorated.

Here, my friends and I are playing UNO. Because I know Spanish,
I did not only shout uno, but dos and tres. (and all the way up to 16, too.
but then my friends got annoyed.)

This is Lily. She is a fan of mustaches, and anything crazy.

Brynna is the one with the goofy smile, and Paige is the one in a blanket.
Brynna acts like a teenager, (and does pretty well at it!) and Paige
is a lover of horses, drama, and drawing.

This is Alex. She is by far, the amazingest, awesomest,
artist in the world!!!!!

This is Greta. She loves, no,
ADORES!!!!! Dolphins!

Here we are burning our homework in the fire, to
celebrate the end of school.

One of the games was crafts, which I think everyone loved.
Paige made cards, Greta made spy equipment, I made....stuff.

This party was the best!

Entrada

Carter and Ryan went with their dad to the Varsity Entrada Camp in Moab, Utah.  They lucked out and caught some cool weather instead of the usual high 90's.  It was a great opportunity to have exciting challenges while spending time with their dad.

Carter was buried to his waist as part of the "totem pole".

Ryan's favorite part of scout camp was rafting down the Colorado river.  He rode in a small raft that was called a "ducky".  He loved the rapids and getting wet!  After rafting a flash flood washed out the road to camp and everyone had to wait for the tractors to clear the boulders from the road.

Carter's favorite activity was the zip line and rappelling.  In this picture, he's rappeling down a 100 ft. wall.

Scott  rappelling on the same wall.  Scott also enjoyed rock climbing.  He and the other leaders had a contest to see how fast they climb a short route.  The competition was stiff, but Scott is so tall that he skipped the last hand holds and just leaped for the top, winning!

Group picture after breakfast.  Scott is in the back on the left and Carter is on the far right.  Ryan was of course still sleeping...

June in the San Rafael

We returned to the swell the first week in June.  It was warmer than we expected, the high was 85.  Scott and I didn't mind, but Carter and Bethany did, a lot!

Our campsite

Our newest acquisition, a toilet tent!

Our wilted children...

Little Wild Horse Canyon

Ryan loves to hike.

Spring Sports and Drama

Ryan loved playing on the Unified Soccer team again this year.  His coached said he's made amazing progress!  Ryan also decided to try Unified Track and Field.  He gave the track team a good try but decided there was too much waiting around.

Bethany ran the 200m, 400m and did the long jump at the valley wide Elementary School Track meet.

Bethany played the Grandma in "Little Wed Widding Hood".  Bethany and her friends formed the "Kid's Comedy Club" and performed two skits for the 4th grade talent show.

Carter played his baritone for his middle school band concert.  He did a great job!  Unfortunately I misplaced my camera that night.
